After ten years of existence, the three founders of the Monolith group and the partners turned towards a uniform naming. In 2008 the Steinhauer, Völker and M.A.X. plus GmbH became Monolith North, Monolith South and Monolith Middle GmbH. To perfect the consistent appearance, Monolith Schwabach and Völker Westspezialitäten GmbH followed the holding company and turned into Monolith East and Monolith International. Monolith West, which has borne its name since the foundation in 1997, fits perfectly in the new concept of the group now.
The idea of the new naming is to integrate each partner into the Monolith group by name and to create a unity. This not only increases the recognition value for the customers, but rather the sense of unity among the employees of the partner companies.
Also the thought of the name „Monolith“ accentuates the corporate philosophy more than ever. Still the brands Steinhauer, Völker and M.A.X. plus will mark the particular products of the manufacturers in the future.
