As the only one of the six branches of the international group of companies, the Monolith West GmbH offers its clientele fresh fish and is therefore obliged to comply with EU hygiene regulations. Given the freshness and shelf life of products reign supreme at Monolith, the observance of hygiene standards is a matter of course and so on October 26th, 2009 it was officially confirmed that Monolith West meets the requirements of Regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 laying down specific hygiene rules for food of animal origin and consequently is now approved as a cold storage house.
